PRESS: Oil firms introduce hidden fuel margins for corp clients
MOSCOW, Nov 8 (PRIME) -- Oil companies have introduced hidden margins on fuel for corporate clients, worsening conditions on fuel cards and introducing additional service charges, Kommersant business daily reported Thursday citing sources.
Oil major Gazprom Neft was the first one to introduce extra charges instead of discounts for corporate clients on fuel cards, sources said.
A source close to Gazprom Neft said the mark-up was a service fee for the fuel card.
Other sources told Kommersant that all large oil companies started worsening price conditions at gas stations on fuel cards after an agreement with the government to freeze small-scale wholesale prices.
